About the owner

Pete Crimaldi was born and raised in a small town on the northeast corner of Sicily (just outside of Milazzo).  He came to the United States in 1977 motivated and passionate to bring the flavor of Sicily to America.  He owned his first pizza shop at the age of 16 in Coatesville, PA.  A short time later, he moved to Wilmington where he is best known for working at Angela’s Italian Restaurant for 18 years.

In 1997, Pete moved back to Sicily where he met and married his wife Maria.  They had two sons named Tony and Dominick.  By the time the family arrived back in the United States for good in 2006, Pete was ready for something big.  Although he had cooked in a kitchen his entire career, he was once again ready to run his own restaurant.  And after many discussions with his family, Tony & Dominick’s Pizza was created in 2013!!!
